General Information about Tribunj

Tribunj has about 1,500 inhabitants and is located on the picturesque Sibenik Riviera, only 3 kilometers from Vodice and 11 kilometers from Pirovac. In the Middle Ages, this town was known as Jurjevgrad, Tribohunj, Tribohum and also as Trebocconi. A small stone bridge, which used to serve as protection against enemy attacks, connected the old town with the mainland even then. Today, this beautiful old town island forms the tourist center, where you can enjoy numerous good restaurants, cafés and cocktail bars with a wonderful view directly onto the sea.

Just opposite the old town is the 60-meter-high Sveti Nikola Mountain, with a charming historic church perched on its peak. From the top you have a fabulous view of Tribunj, the offshore islands such as Lukovnik and Logorun, and even to the Kornati islands! Another highlight of the holiday resort is the beautiful marina and the picturesque coastal promenade with the dreamlike beaches, which give the village an extremely charming flair.
