The sea is particularly calm and therefore ideal for swimming and snorkeling. From the old town of Rovinj, you can reach Mulini beach on foot via the seafront promenade, which leads first through the marina and then into the wonderful forest park. Public parking is 200 meters behind the beach, and also some of the best places to stay in Rovinj for a perfect beach vacation are not far away.

Tip: Only about 20 meters from the Baluota beach is the lovely La Casa Isabella, which scores with top furnishings and a great location in the old town.
Lone Bay Beach
A very popular beach is the wonderful Lone Bay Beach, located in the charming forest park of Rovinj. Zlatni Rt Beach

This enchanting natural beach is located in the forest park of Rovinj, where you can actually find a whole variety of picturesque bays and beaches in a unique landscape. The flat stones of the rocky plateau are perfect for undisturbed sunbathing, and the refreshing, clear sea provides pleasant cooling. Wonderful shade is provided by the many pine trees that line the coastline, creating a Mediterranean idyll at its best.
Tip: The best way to get to Zlatni Rt is on foot via the forest park promenade or by bike. Parking spaces are available in front of the forest park.
Punta Cabana Beach
The beach at the Punta Cabana beach bar is indescribably beautiful and, moreover, a real insider tip among the best beaches in Rovinj. This pretty cove is somewhat hidden in the town’s forest park and can be easily reached via the park’s picturesque walking paths. Kuvi Beach
A special beach in Rovinj is certainly Kuvi Beach, which is located between the forest park and the Villas Rubin vacation resort. Here you can expect a tranquil bathing pleasure in an absolutely fantastic scenery. This fine pebble beach offers excellent entry into the clear water. The sea is very shallow here, which is especially appreciated by families with small children and older people. The Cuve Beach Bar is also really cozy, a chill-out beach bar that invites you to enjoy! Only about 200 meters south of the bay is the nudist beach Kuvi. A great beach for naturists right near Rovinj!
Tip: The Residence Vaal is around a 10-minute walk away and impresses with its stylish rooms, beautiful location and delicious breakfast.
Polari Beach
A truly recommendable beach in Rovinj is the bay of the campsite Polari, a large vacation complex with pools, restaurants and entertainment facilities. Here you can expect particularly idyllic bathing places, whereby this beach consists partly of stone, but also partly of fine pebbles. Characteristic are the large trees that line this bay and the crystal clear sea, which is ideal for swimming. Snorkeling along the rocks, you will discover an interesting underwater world. The small beach bar, which provides guests with snacks, coffee and cool drinks in the summer, is also really cool.
Tip: Very popular for a beach vacation in Rovinj are the beautiful mobile homes at the Polari campsite. The sea is also not far away from here.
Porton Biondi Beach
The picturesque Porton Biondi Beach is definitely one of the most popular beaches in Rovinj. It is located north of the center, only 15 minutes walk from the old town. In addition, the Plaza Porton Biondi fascinates with a breathtaking view of the picturesque town of Rovinj, with beautiful sea colors and great swimming areas. The approach to it is mostly via a paved gravel road, which is easily passable. For many, Cisterna Beach is one of the most idyllic beaches in Rovinj. The sea here is wonderfully clear and calm, and small trees provide pleasant shade on hot days. In the high season a small beach bar opens here, in the low season, however, you have this lonely, wild-romantic beach mostly to yourself.
Vestar Beach
The picturesque Vestar Beach is an insider’s tip for a beach vacation in Rovinj. Guests love this beautiful, sheltered bay, which is located in the campsite of the same name Vestar. Of course, non-campers also have the opportunity to swim at this long stretched dream beach. Especially, families with children appreciate this wonderful bathing place, which falls very shallowly into the sea and even turns into a sandy beach in the water. Thanks to the protected location, there are hardly any waves on this stretch of coast, and in some places you can wade out into the sea up to 50 meters.
