Sunj Beach is one of the main attractions of Lopud. This bay has several times been voted one of the most beautiful natural sandy beaches in Croatia.

The best time to visit the Sunj beach is from May to October, when the weather is warm and the temperature of the water is pleasant, providing ideal conditions for swimming.

You can get to Lopud by taking a ferry from Dubrovnik. Alternatively, guided boat trips are available. These are often combined with trips to other islands and to the Blue Grotto.

The picturesque Sunj Beach is located in the south of Lopud, an island pearl, about 13 kilometers from Dubrovnik. Three restaurants in prime locations overlooking the sea spoil their guests with local dishes and summer refreshments. How to get to Sunj Beach

There are several ways to get to Sunj Beach. The island of Lopud can be reached by ferry several times a day from the port of Gruž in Dubrovnik. The ferry costs about 10 euros for a round-trip and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in the main town of Lopud, the beach is on the opposite side of the island. Sunj Beach can then be reached either by a 2-kilometer walk or for a fee of 3 euros with the local golf-cart-taxis.
