Paradise Beach Rajska Plaža

The Paradise Beach, also known as Rajska Plaza, is probably the most famous beach on Rab Island. This family-friendly sandy beach is located in the holiday resort of Lopar in the north of Rab and forms the tourist center there. Especially families with small children, but also older ones love this very shallowly sloping, 2 kilometer long dream beach, where you can build wonderful sandcastles and where you can wade hundreds of meters out into the sea. The water is wonderfully clear and warm and invites splashing around and play ball games.

Visitors can also expect a good tourist offer with sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and a wide range of water sports activities. There is even a cool slide park in the lower section of the beach! Catering is provided by the many restaurants, beach bars and cafés that line the promenade and treat guests to a magnificent view of the blue sea and the offshore islet of Otočić Lukovina.

Tip: Particularly popular for a beach holiday are the cozy mobile homes of the Valmar San Marino Camping Resort and the modern holiday flats of Apartmani Villa Zora near the beach.

Padova III Beach

Padova III beach is located in the holiday resort of Banjol, near the old town of Rab, and is part of the Padova campsite of the same name. Non-campers can also visit this public bay free of charge. While bathing, one enjoys a very fine pebble beach, which even turns into a sandy beach in the sea. The bay slopes very gently and is therefore very popular with families with small children. The small trees are also pretty, giving the beach a Mediterranean flair and providing shade, especially on hot summer days.

Behind Plaza Padova III is the promenade, which leads to the harbor and the old town and connects several pretty beaches as well. Here you will also find cozy beach bars and restaurants that invite to linger and enjoy your day.

Tip: Absolutely recommendable are the mobile homes of Camping Resort Padova, which enchants with modern furnishings and cleanliness. The proximity to the beach is also unique!

If the hustle and bustle is too much for you in the high season, there are several small bays to the left and right of the beach that invite to sunbathe and enjoy yourself in an undisturbed surrounding.

For cool drinks and food, there is a tasty snack bar next to the beach, where you will also find plenty of places to sit in cool shade with a view of the picturesque bay. The beach club Santos is also really cool, where you can end a day of swimming with cocktails and chill-out music.
