The beautiful resort of Perissa is located in the south of Santorini, about 12 kilometers from the capital Fira and 26 kilometers from the famous coastal town of Oia. This black volcanic sand beach has a length of 2,300 meters and merges directly into the very quiet Perivolos Beach to the south. The main attraction of Perissa is the impressive rock of Mesa Vouno, which rises out of the sea and gives the sandy beach its unique backdrop. The center of the village is adorned by the church of St. Cross in the charming Cycladic style. A special feature of the beach is the fine black sand and the clear blue Aegean sea, which together with the colorful umbrellas make it a real highlight. Thanks to its cleanliness, good beach facilities and excellent water quality, this stretch of coastline has already been awarded the Blue Flag.

Perissa Beach is one of the most popular places for a beach vacation in Santorini. Not only is the beach great, but the tourist offer is also fantastic.
