Torres de Serranos

One of the most important attractions in Valencia are the former defense towers Torres de Serranos. They were built in 1392 and have been transformed into free-standing towers since the city walls were demolished in 1865. Between 1586 and 1887, the imposing towers even served as prisons for noblemen.
