It is located in the north of the island of Santorini, about 1 kilometer from Oia and 13 kilometers from the capital Fira. It is well worth a visit as it offers a glimpse of Santorini at its finest. Getting to Santorini is relatively simple. The island has its own international airport and is also served by a number of domestic flights from Athens. Traveling by ferry is another option. Ammoudi Bay is located in the north of the island. There are two main ways to get to the bay. The first option is a staircase that starts just below Londsa Castle in Oia. The second option is by taxi, with a trip between Oia and Amoudi costing around 10 EURO. Of course, you can also rent a car or a quad bike, but the access road to the bay is very narrow, and the parking lot is often overcrowded.
