General information about Playa de San Juan
The entire stretch of beach of Playa de San Juan has a length of around 7 kilometers. It begins in the south at the Mirador de la Rotonda de Abajo and extends to El Campellos in the north. Alicante’s old town is around 13 kilometers away, but it can be easily reached by public transport in around 20 minutes. Conveniently, for example, tram lines 1, 3 and 4 connect the city center with Playa de San Juan. The bus stop (lines 21 and 22) is also just a few meters from the beach. Those who come by car will always find enough free parking spaces in the numerous public car parking areas.

Playa de San Juan was awarded the Blue Flag, a special sign that promises TOP water quality and high beach standards. And indeed, the sea is crystal clear and very clean.
