The promenade of Viareggio
The absolute highlight and at the same time the most important attraction is the miles-long promenade of Viareggio, also known as “La Passeggiata di Viareggio”. Especially in summer this promenade is well frequented. But also on weekends in autumn, winter and spring there is always something going on here. Locals, but also many tourists come here just to shop in the numerous stores and boutiques. Besides the noble Italian fashion brands, you can also find international stores and budget souvenir stores.

The pier of Viareggio
